I'm looking for an m44 but i keep coming up with the same companys, what do you guys think! Who has the best prices on them. I have got into collecting old milsurp rifles, and so if you guys have any ideas.. thanks a bunch!!!
Big 5 has a great deal on most of them. i dont know where you live, but they are not all over the country(Big 5). Also, you may look at AIM surplus or Southern Ohio Gun. i havent checked their deals lately. both my M44 and 91/30 came from a Big 5
Not necessarily the best prices, but this guy usually has some of the rarer stuff. He's got some 1950's Romanians and Russian 91\59's right now.http://allans-armory.com/aa.asp
Se you guys are all looking at the same places that i'am, but tool man had a good one and big 5 was also good, but no m-44's, My local gun store wants 150 for one, and i personally think it is a little high!

If you keep track, you can get a 91/30, an M44, or an M38 for 89.00 when they're on sale. Sometimes the 91/30's come with full accessories, which means bayonet, sling, double-spouted oil/grease can, ammo pouch and tool. That's what got me hooked a couple of years ago on Mosins, and I have seven in my safe at the moment.
The M38's usually have M44 stocks, but what do you want for the price?
i also saw their CZ52's they did that with. They are awesome
I saw some M-39s and M-44s, they had had chromed, at a gunshow in Charlotte a few months back and they were something to behold. I was sorely tempted, but didn't have the extra cash for one.
