Gander Mountain: What are these stores like?

I heard there was a Gander Mountain store coming to the Knoxville area this fall. Are they like a Bass Pro Shops or Sportsman's Warehouse?

if the 1 comming your way is like the 1 here, the guns are way to much.. they dont have that much reloading supplys. the fishing stuff is ok , but cheaper someplace else.. NOW if you into camping and paintballing your in luck....
and about the only person that knows anything is the gunsmith.. the rest look for places to hide till break time.....

After going to Cabela's in Dundee, MI I've never been back in the Gander Mountain closer to me in Holland, OH...

No comparison....

Around here, Gander Mountain is the only show in town. It's surprising, since there are a lot of hunters, shooters, and fisherman. Since it's a lonnnnnng way to Cabellas I look for more specialized gear at Gander Mountain. I have never bought a gun there.

They aren't too bad. Not like the big boys. I did find they will deal. Got my Sx2 from there, couldn't be happier.

Thanks for the info. I miss having a Sportsmans Warehouse nearby.
