Gunsmithing my N0.4

I have a Long Branch Sporterized 1944 No.4 MKI. I'd like to modify it quite a bit, and i'd like an idea of cost.

I'd like to at least Switch the bolt to left hand, and make the magazine release much easier to operate.

That's my initial goal.

later on i'd lik e

Then i'd like to get the works done on it, Trigger job, new barrel and float it, some work done on the action and generall stuff to improve the accuracy.

[ I'd like to at least Switch the bolt to left hand ]

Is this a " trick question?"

If you're serious, it'll cost you much more than the $320 as quoted and agreed to in the last two replies. Maybe more like $3200. What you are proposing doesn't make sense. But, I'm sure you've already figured that out.

Funny, I'm a southpaw and left-handed rifles just feel too weird to me.

It will cost far more than it will ever be worth and I doubt you will be happy with the results when done.

If the rifle is not scoped and still has the charging bridge , stripper clips is the way to go for loading .

I'm also left-handed, but right-eye dominant. I get along fine with right-hand bolts.
