Website Tech\Hosting Advice

I'm looking at building my website for Abilene Grip Works and am looking for some advice. Being as this is a part-time venture and I'm not really making a lot of money with it, I am leaning towards 1&1, Yahoo, or one of the other budget-type' "one stop" companies. So far, 1&1 looks the best on paper. Has anyone here used one of these, and how well do they live up to their hype? Also, I only have one operational comp. right now. Would it be a good idea to create a separate drive partition for the business, or just a separate user profile?

As far as backups go....do one everytime you do major changes.

I have an external hard drive that I sync up with every so often.
Otherwise I upload important files to a personal website that I keep under lock and key

If you need hosting, you can defintly contact me and I can see what I can do for you.
