Gentlemen,
This file gives us some idea of production of the M1 Garand and the number of tests and checks before issue to Stores. This also gives us a look at numbers for production.

The really bad news is I have the weekly and monthly reports also. By Production and Serial Numbers. Really weird data.
Warning, before you go to my sites lower your volume as the opening page contains a sound file which has a loading and firing of the M1 Garand. So if you're at work or home it may be wise to check your volume control.

The Chinese had fought back against the Japs at Lugochow bridge on July 7, 1937, starting WWII and Hitler had occupied the Rhineland on March 7, 1936, but on March 12, 1938 when Hitler entered Austria, 5 days later we had 1545 Garands ready to go. I guess that's planning ahead.
