Rem 722 .222 series, Missing Bolt assembly

Howdy Folks,
Just recieved my mom's deer rifle. It hasn't been used in over 45 years and the bolt assembly is missing. Is there anything I can do to bring life back into this old sweet thing
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thankx and happy shooting

Gunbroker.com? Is it missing the bolt, or the entire action? Also, try contacting a gunsmith to get him to custom make one.

complete action is missing

Missing the entire action,
the action was removed 45 years ago to keep us kids from having too much fun . It got lost in a move from one house to another after a divorce.
I am looking a for diagram with part numbers too. There is Antique Gun Show in two weeks. With the right part numbers maybe I would have a better chance of finding a replacement, (At least I would know what I was looking for
Thanks for the help

Sounds like a tall order. I would search gunbroker.com and maybe the gun parts sites. Good luck
