Expertise in Civil war munitions needed

Our new museum director is going through some stuff and has asked me if I could ID some stuff. This stuff is old..... cannon balls and shots and bullets etc.... I have not seen the stuff yet but will be getting a chance to go through it and get some pictures. I have no idea as the the ages but it is definately civil war era or possibly earlier revolutionary war era as there was a fort nearby at 96. If anyone has any expertise in this field your help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Its the Caliber

Many of us are not experts but some of us have some knowledge, maybe enough to be dangerous. I would like to see some good digital pictures of the items then maybe I could look it up. Get some measurements. That's the key, because there may be some unique bullet to a particular gun, or cannon, different from the general stuff. This could be a new forum, Identification by Committee.
