Party school

I go to Penn state Behrend in Erie. Its a party school. But this weekend for the home game I went to PSU Main with about 10 other people. O my god.....
It is the second biggest party school in the world. I want to see the biggest. We got there friday night and didnt stop partying till saturday night. Wow. Sooooooo many people. Almost everyone you see on the street at night is hammered. I was as well. I can't wait to go there next home game. Its like a city too. 50000 students alone live there. And there was a party on almost every corner. So much fun.

Someday, when you're older, you'll realize that you can't drink all the beer in the world.:cheer:

Sounds kinda like where I live in Athens Ga, home of the UGA Bulldogs. There were parties all over the place yesterday! I think next week is homecoming too.... it should be a blast!

I was at King's Point for a year in the late '60's

That's the US Merchant Marine Academy, for officers of civilian ships. Same drill as all the other Academies: Congressional appointment, etc.

While I was there, Playboy Magazine came out with an issue listing the top ten drinking and partying colleges in the country. The article had a disclaimer saying that King's Point hadn't been rated, because it's midshipmen were considered professionals and it wasn't fair to compare them to amateurs.

By the time I arrived classes had to roam far and wide to reserve a hall for any event whatsoever, because King's Point had worn out its welcome for miles around...

He won't be the first to try, nor the last...but there's always "one more beer on the wall." These lyrics are dedicated to Gio:

99 bottles of beer on the wall
99 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
98 bottles of beer on the wall
98 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
97 bottles of beer on the wall
97 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
96 bottles of beer on the wall
96 bottles of beer on the wall
96 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
95 bottles of beer on the wall
95 bottles of beer on the wall
95 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
94 bottles of beer on the wall
94 bottles of beer on the wall
94 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
93 bottles of beer on the wall
93 bottles of beer on the wall
93 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
92 bottles of beer on the wall
92 bottles of beer on the wall
92 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
91 bottles of beer on the wall
91 bottles of beer on the wall
91 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
90 bottles of beer on the wall
90 bottles of beer on the wall
90 bottles of beer

Take one and drinks it all up
89 bottles of beer on the wall
(continue the same way until you reach 1 bottle)

There is 1 bottle of beer on the wall
1 bottle of beer
Gio took the last bottle of beer on the wall and drank it all up
And then puked on the jail wall.

Behavior Worth Bragging About?

College is supposed to be the preparation for, and the beginning of an adult life, at America’s finest educational institutions. These are places where the best of American culture and technology are passed on to the next generation. At every opportunity recipients of this legacy think it’s cool to puke in the gutters, and brag about a “good party school”.

Do they brag when their dates are killed or crippled in car accidents caused by “Partying” drivers? or do they brag when Fraternity brothers or Sorority sisters die from alcohol poisoning while drinking 21 shooters? What about the innocent daughters of hard working alumni who are raped by drunken “Athletes”. The “Partiers” will probably brag about that too. Your hard-earned donated and Taxpayer Dollars at work. No need ot attack me H. I didn't puke everywhere by the way. I didn't rape anyone. All I did was go down to main to have a good time and watch the game. I wasn't braggin. It was just something to say. No one got raped. No one drove drunk, and no one got put in jail. It was only the 2nd party I've been to. I study hard. Im and MET major and going to contract to the Army. Is it wrong to party a little in college. By the way. Hard earned tax dollars? I pay thousands of dollars a year to go here. I want to have a little fun. Is that so wrong?
And I didnt go here because it is a party school. I go to the Erie school. Its a well known Engineering school. Every engineering teacher I have has designed parts and calculations and has probably even wrote a book. Its a good school. If I wanted to go party every day I would have joined to University park.

I thought University park was an amazing sight. It was game weekend too. What do you expect. 50000+ students. It turns into one of the largest cities in America on game weekends. And like I said. I know when to stop. I didn't get puke drunk. and if you have a problem with this post dont pay attention to it. I had a good time. Why do you have to bash it. You act like you never partied before. And if you never did you were obviously way too sheltered. I survived, everyone else survived. Besideds there are alot of cops at PSU. People arn't gonna do stupid !!!!. Like drive drunk.

You need to lighten up a little, Heilung

You practically accused the kid of rape and murder.

Pushing the envelope occasionally is part of the growing-up and maturing process. If you've never, ever gone past the limits of good sense and proper behavior, you've led a sad, sheltered little life.

Dang, a soon to be educated partying drunk that wants to run the country. JUST what we need! He he he he.

Sounds like Ted Kennedy and Bill Clinton co-joined at the hip. LOL.

Dale...there's a big difference between Kennedy, Clinton and Gio. Gio is a young member in good standing of G&G.Com with sworn allegiance to the gun lobby (isn't that right Gio?):assult:

whereas Teddy and Billy subscribe to another belief according to their written records. Plus, Ted and Bill have proven their real objectives in life having been exposed "under the table."

No Drunks Please

Gio placed himself in the picture, I presented my impression based on experience. Perhaps some of us have seen it all, done it all, and know what a terrible waste it is, to allow students to die in accidents and from alcohol poisoning. Those situations I mention are all based on actual incidents. The Sorority girl died in a Fraternity house closet at the University of Colorado from doing shooters. Is that part of the life experiences we hope students go through, just because their predecessors did it? with our donated, tuition, and tax dollars?

Red face I repeat, Heilung: you need to lighten up

When I was that age I smoked, drank, swore, brawled, got stoned, and even (gasp) chased women. I didn't kill myself or anyone else; I didn't become an alcoholic or a drug addict; I didn't turn into a menace to society or a burden on it; I didn't go on to beat my wife and children.

Yes. He needs to keep a sense of proportion, not get too stupid, and not let partying take over his life and his education. And a polite, "umm, Gio: don't get get too carried away; remember why you're there," would probably not have been out of line.

But I seriously doubt that most of those partiers approve of "raping the innocent daughters of hard working alumni." Or the daughters of lazy ones either, for that matter.

You're right, Troy. Do you want your kids to do the same things so they can learn "First hand"?
