What will I get if I get a trigger job on my Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag.

Well, for sure you'll get a bill. What you'll get for your money will depend on what sort of work is done and the competence of the one doing it.

White Falcon,
A good trigger job will almost eliminate the creep in your single action pull, the double action pull should be steady and smooth with no stacking, which is an increase in the weight before the hammer falls. The overtravel should also be regulated in both modes as well. There are so-called gunsmiths who merely switch springs and call that a trigger job. Look around for a reputable smith.

it all depends on who does it. there is no need to chage out or alter the factory springs in a ruger double action to get a good pull.
