Bersa Ultra Compact 9mm

Does anybody have any experience with this handgun? Good, bad or indifferent?

I am considering adding this to my 'want list' but would like to hear from someone who owns one or has fired one enough to have a valid opinion.

Thanks in advance,

Jay1958

I finally found a great deal on a NIB Bersa UC9 and ordered it today. I will post a range report when it arrives.

If anyone has experience with these, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.

Thanks for the input, Troy and Oxford.

I did it. I bought a NIB Bersa UC9. Took it to the range today and put 65 rounds thru it. 15 rounds of WWB and 50 rounds of S&B FMJ. No problems. The only issue I have is that at 35 feet it is shooting about 5 inches high and 2 inches to the left. Groups are pretty good, and the two inches to the left is small enough that it may be just me. But five inches high bothers me a bit.

I'll try to put more than 65 rounds thru it next time, and shoot off the bench to see if it is the gun or if it's just me...

Got a smokin' good deal on the UC9: $290 out the door!

Best regards,

Jay1958

Kel-Tec

This is probably not the right way to do this but I don't know how to start a new forum or whatever.
I just (finally) got my new Kel-Tec PF-9. This is the single stack 9mm they indroduced at the SHOT show last year, I ordered mine in February right after my gun runner got back. It came in last Friday and I got some range time in on Saturday. Just checking function so I haven't put it on paper yet. Anyway, when the slide locked open I noticed brass shavings on top of the magazine. I inspected some of the spent brass and noticed cuts in the extractor lip. I think this can be easily corrected with the use of a fine file, but plan to wait for extra magazines.
How many others out there have this pistol and what is your take on it. I have the P-11, P-32, P-3AT, and the P-2000 and all have worked great. In fact, I have put about 5000 rounds through the P-11 with only one malfunction. I had a round that the case was kind of wrinkled which caused a stoppage. I popped the back of the slide with the heel of my hand, it closed and went right along.
