Talking polish 1952 m44

awhile back i bought a polish m44 that had been defaced by cutting the front sight off(HORRORS!) and it came with a ncstar 2x20 scope that i thought was broken because when i first took it to the range a helpful soul wanted to help me sight it in . well the adjustment knobs were being turned the wrong way or sumthin because before i bought a replacement i took it by myself again to the range. lo and behold! after 10 rounds of sighting i settled down and produced a 5 shot one ragged hole!@50 yds.was i pleased? yes!!! this is a very well made gun and im broken hearted that its been modified . but on the bright side ive gotten a good rifle and scope with a box of hunting rounds for $65 i just hadda tell someone!P.S. i was using hungarian milsurp yellow/ silvertip ammo

Even "Bubba'd", these are great little rifles. My Chinese T53 (M44 clone) was cutdown too - the stock shortened up front and the frontsight/bayo lug cutdown. The bayo lug was removed and the barrel shortened 3/4 inch to match! Then the gun was reblued.
Oh, the horror . . . the humanity . . .

But it still shoots very good.
