Wyr | It does say "Made In China" on it, but right below that on the box it says the company is based in California.
Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on their quality, but I'll find out when I put it on my CETME.

Please keep us posted . Best I remember , they are economically priced ?
My biggest thing about cheap scopes ( mostly what I own ) is the lack of repeatability .
If I go up six clicks , and it also goes left or right ........ :-(

hey, Just A Car! Are you still having feeding/ejection problems? If so you may want to try this ammo, winchester white box. NATO specs. I have tried it in my cetme with no problems, it really doesnt seem that dirty either. 100 Rds. .308 147 - Gr. Fmj Ammo, Rifle Ammunition, Winchester at Sportsman's Guide
looking forward to your scope post! I have a barska on my rem 700 .243 and it works great its a 6x24x44. but i had problems mounting it, I was using 30mm rings and they weren't working well. kept comming loose at the base, I then used leupold mount and rings, much better.

New pictures of my Spanish Lady "Jessica" with her new glasses! The last picture I decided to take my airsoft UTG H&K MP5's 3-point sling and see if it worked on my CETME. It did work but wasn't nearly as comfortable as I'd have liked and the rifle was just too long to use the sling as intended. I made sure the MP5 got some lens time so it didn't feel left out.
Also, here's a couple links to the pics of looking through the mount. It is see-through and I can still use the iron sights with the scope on.
The mount is made by Accushot and the rings are made by Simmons. CETME007-1.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting CETME008-1.jpg - Image - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

just_a_car, let me know how that claw clamp mount works on the stamped receiver for you.
I am looking at doing something but haven't heard any good about claw mounts on stamped receivers.
Thanks.

here's my Cetme, the photos are a bit too dark, the wood is more lighter/orange-red in color...the 30 rd mag is steel and came from Cheaper Than Dirt... The 20 rd mag [H&K] alum. from Tapco at 50 mags for $50, while some were quite used, this one was a 1963 and it looks brand "new"...after yesterday's shoot, I think I need to put a scope on "her"! :~)
The .45 is a Para Ordnance P10 stainless...

Nice setup there Lakerdad.
I wish my 30 rounders were steel like yours. Mine are polycarbonate of some sort. I have yet to try them out at the range... and with the price of .308Win/7.62NATO, I doubt I will be doing so anytime soon.

Just A Car, NICE! I really like the g3 hk91 style stock, is that a TAPCO butt stock? If so was it a pain to install? Did you ruin any wood taking the old stock off the rear plate?

Did you ruin any wood taking the old stock off the rear plate? | It is a TAPCO buttstock, but it was installed on the firearm prior to my acquisition of the gun. You can purchase whole stock/spring guide rod/spring assemblies online where all you then have to do is adjust the location of the buffer and you're good to go (at least, that's what I've read online... not sure how true that is). Here's one without that: Cetme Tactical AR-15 Style Collapsible Stock-Florida GunWorks - Parts for the AR15, AK47, FNFAL, HK, Mini 14, Mini 30 & MP5 at Florida Gun Works
Check out their other stocks, like the retractable one seen on many H&K items: Stocks-Florida GunWorks - Parts for the AR15, AK47, FNFAL, HK, Mini 14, Mini 30 & MP5 at Florida Gun Works

LakerDad, I can see them just fine. Two of the CETME, one of a guy with a gatling gun.
As stated before, it appears some people are having trouble seeing attached images. Fortunately, I'm not.

man i wish i could afford a G3 or CETME so much. There was a place around here that had a used one for 300 but they knew nothing about it and you couldnt really handle it as much as youd need to to see how the bolt gap and all that stuff is on it
