I was looking through old dvds another guy on the other side looking at them also. I pulled out hamburger hill and casually mentioned it is the best movie and accurate of vietnam, well he had the eagle globe and anchor on his shirt--young guy---started the marine jab-- he was at fallujah hes having problems with ptsd and drinking a fifth per day. My heart broke ,Ive seen this so many times over the years, I talked him in to going to lovelace thats the va hospitile here. I will keep tabs on him blood to bloodhe also said he was homeless edited ill take good care of another leatherneck

That post really made my heart break. To give your all then come back and become homeless and going through the trama of post destress. I hope you can help this brother out. It is just a shame what happens to our boys and nobody seems to care. I know he will have a good friend in you. Let us know how he is doing and also that he has people who are asking about him and do let him know we care. Lady Di

Thanks for taking the time to care. But by Gods Grace, many of us could have been wearing his shoes that day. I hope they are doing more for them when they come home than in 1991. We didn't even get a debriefing. I know I wasn't the only one a bit tattered and sick. A tough VN era Green Beret helped me get my life sorted out. I met him at a 7-11 store. Meeting him saved my life.
