I picked SA 1911 GI up in Fayetteville, NC for about $400 new back in 2004. That price also included hogue grips and a box of Federal Hydro-shock JHP. Shoots tight, but still get the occasional stovepipe.

I have heard good things about RIA. I would like to pic one up soon too. I am interested to see how they stack up against the competition. Nice looking gun there. I have a Springfield Armory Mil-Spec that I LOVE a lot and am excited to get it back from the shop. They are doing a little trigger work for me. But I must say the original trigger in the Mil-Spec had room for improvement.
