As I said in another thread, one my Dads best friends joined the Marines in 1966-1967. He was already a little crazy to begin with, but he did the real fightin, so to speak. My Dad said he would go out on his own, up to weeks at a time doing recon work. When he came back, he wasn't right, and even to this day if he hears a loud noise or something, you can tell it scares him. He said he knows some of the stuff he had to do, and some of the stuff he did, but he would never ask him about it. I guess its just one of those things better left alone.

you know what that video show me !!it looks like a sheep that is sending out her lambs into a field of lions to be slaughtered for nuthin. and then when they get killed she trys to hide it .they are dyng for nuthin.war is !!!! yea your right about that but why are they in this war??it's like a duck shoot. i told my sister-n-law before the war started that they were gonna pretty much walk right across the desert and get into the city and take it. and then when they get us into the city they would start to pick us off one by one and that it would end up just like vietnam a war without an end. man it looks like i foreseen the future right one track.but all them people said bush was the man he was the one that was gonna kick butt .he's a man with endless promises . but hey what's his saying (i know it's hard to loose a son . i talked to the parents.). why don't he send his kids over there . his own dad is disapointed in him .

email them to me . i have a 17 year old son who thinks he is 10 tall and bullet proof and that it's all fun and games. i tried talkin to him and tellin him that they ain't shootin no rubber bullets over there and that when you see a bomb go off people die.!!!! bush for hideng this from the kids. knowone sees a flag covered casket comin home and remembers that someone is givin up a life over there.i wish all the soldiers would get together and sign a paper stateing they they would like to have thier casket filmed being brought home by the media. the families of the 156thblack sheep by my house did when i think it was 16 of them got killed all at one time last year when thier amtrack vehical got hit . and believe me that feeling stuck with people for a while.. that would be a great idea . all military peronel get together and have i put in writing that they want thier casket filmed by the media. you say you wanna save your buddy's butt well thats the best way. cause if you get killed then maybe you can open up a few eyes and end this needless war and bring them home so they don't need to die for nuthin cause the reason we are there has changed so many times the list is getting as long as the dead!!!!
if you wanna see some more stuff get a dish and tune into aljezzerra tv and some of them arab tv stations there are plenty of them out there .and hundreds of channels.you can't really understand what they saying but they show videos.

OK OK OK Most of y'all seem to be fighting an armchair war. The media says the Iraqi people do not want us here. That is total BS. Every day I can Talk to a local national and they thank us for ousting sadam. The handshakes smiles and gratitude I have seen is amazing. I got to witness the elections and the excitement it presented to these people. The "insurgents" are mostly poor farmers who are corrupted by foreign fighters and radicalism. The biggest attacks are usually carried out by fighters from other countries. A stable Iraq is the most dangerous to these people as it would strengthen the cause of freedom and democracy in the region. 7mm I think you understand the most of what is happening over here, you have seen it. As for the videos, the enemy can post anything they want on the web, thats where you see most of the attacks on our forces are comming from. If we post a body or video of us killing the enemy we can be subject to UCMJ action or civilian criminal procedings. Remeber we are the only country abiding by the different Geneva conventions. Thats my two pennies.

| Couldn't say it better. So, let's repeat it!

I want to know what the real reason was that we went there...it sure wasn't for any of the following reasons.
Then we were there to capture Saddam.
Then, we were there to free the oppressed.
Then, we were there to spread Democracy.
Then, we were there to build an Oil Pipeline through poor peoples' villages and land.
Then, we were there to take care of the "insurgents." (aren't most of the fighters there Iraqi? To me, "insurgent" insinuates 'outsider coming in')
Then, we were there to spread Democracy again.
Then we were there because we didn't want to look like sissies backing down from a war that we can not win handling it the way we are.
Then, we were there to keep a Civil War from breaking out.
But, then, it was "never really close to being a civil war."
Then, we were there to find the "terrorist" leaders.
Then we were there, yet again, because we didn't want to look like sissies backing down from a war that we can not win handling it the way we are.
Then, we were there to show the Iraqi people we will not leave them. (yea, I be that sits well with all of them.)
Then, we were there to train Iraqi forces.
Now, we are there to help the Iraqi government.
Now, we are there to "change the course."
Hmm, and who ever said Bush never changed his direction in Iraq? LOL...too bad it was just words to feed the "current" anger of the Iraqi and American public. You know what they are going to do. They are going to string it out to the point where a democrat will become president then Bush, his Cronies and Limbaaa--rf (ahem, Limbaugh) can blame everything on the democrats.
This video makes me sick and pissed at the Terrorists that pissed us off to begin with and pissed at Bush and his cronies for handling the 9/11 attacks in this fasion. We get hit on 9/11. What is Bush's response? "Hmm, well...what towel head country would be the easiest and least resistant to invasion just so I can beat my chest like a horny gorilla?" ... "Oh! Iraq...they have been under the gun for nearly 1.5 decades...they can't stand to pose much of a resistance. We'll go there Jim Bob." | ...and lied to!

But, it seems they have found a way to implement mind control, as well. hurry home! and while you are waiting to come home, please be safe.

God Bless our troops and let us pray for their safety and a safe return home.
I've always been a conservative and support conservative values and was a strong supporter of our original war effort in Iraq. However, this administration has shown no forsight in concluding this war and still clings to the delusional belief that they can create a democracy in Iraq which you realistically cannot do with fanatical religious groups. Iraq has always been ruled by a dictatorship, ruled with a iron fist and is probably the only form of govenment they can understand and respect.

What I's like to see is the footage from after the smoke clears. and to see exactly how many soldiers they kill.
I know for a fact that Certain vehicles in out inventory are build for crew survivability.
The Drill Sergeants told us about their time in Iraq and how alot of the time, while the HMMWVs would get torn apart, the crew inside would still be alive, albeit very injured.
Also, There are documented accounts of Strykers getting flipped over by an IED and remaining intact, with at most a crew member with broken neck.
Just like that sniper video I saw where these dipshits shot a soldier. They got him in the SAPI plate, he fell down, got back up, and moved behind his HMMWV. translated, the two snipers said;
"Did you get him?"
"No, I missed."
"God is great."
"God is great."
What that video doesn't show is that soldier they shot fire back at them. killing one and wounding another.
Guess who posted that video online?
Everyone likes to go on about all the traps that the insurgents set for us. What nobody talks about are the traps we set for them, which are far more effective.
CI warfare is like hunting. only the animals you stalk are also stalking you.

Well, we need to set more. I just don't know how it would be possible to kill too many rag heads! The more, the merrier!
