Thumbs up Almost Christmas time...so have have you bought her a gift yet?

Clock's winding down for those who plan to get her a Christmas gift. What do you think you'll get her this year?

Myself...I bought her a new watch, necklace and ear rings. After 45 years of her putting up with me, she's definitely worth it and more.

What are you trying to do, Ox?

Make the rest of us look bad?

But in the spirit of Christmas, here is a picture of my 80-year-old mother-in-law telling Santa about the $500,000 motor home she wants for Christmas. She won't get it if I have to play Santa's little helper...

Nice pic, Troy. Yup..I could use a 500k motor home, too...but ain't gonna get it.

No...I would never try to make anyone look bad intentionally. Just thought I'd start a new thread hopefully showing a little Christmas spirit...and definitely not political in nature. Bah Humbug!

I got my wife a hardcover novel, an action movie, a nice suede vest, and a Mustang calendar. She got me pants, shirts, socks, and permission to buy a shotgun.

I love my wife.

Got the wife a new laptop, although a bit early. I got annoyed enough with my work laptop and our old slow PC that I got one early. I got her a new mp3 player, too.

BRG3 slipped that marriage in on us quietly. Probably a wise thing, too.

Wink

Maybe it was a "shotgun" wedding since this is a gun forum.

Update on the mother-in-law

The water company shut off her service last week. When she went down to find out why, she discovered her check had bounced. Why? Because the Social Security dim bulbs have somehow listed her as deceased, and her bank froze her accounts. She's out of her HMO for the same reason, and at the moment has no social security, medical insurance, pension, or anything else until she gets it straightened out.

It reminds me of Mark Twain's dry letter to the newspaper that had mistakenly printed his obituary: "reports of my recent demise are greatly exaggerated."
