I just went to the Wolf ammunition website and Wolf gives a 100% satisfaction guarantee including freight on any unused ammo returned to them if you are dissatisfied.They are also coming out with a new line of copper case,copper jacket,boxer primed,SAAMI specs. ammo.I have never fired or purchased Wolf ammo in my own firearms,but have in other shooters firearms,having the most trouble with pistol ammo.But if they are coming out with what was written above I wont hesitate to use it. samuel.

i use it all the time in all of my guns .no problems yet after many 1000s rds.these are all military weapons so they have looser tolerances, no ar,s or anything like that tho...
wolf jams the tar out of my Bushmaster BAR10, but it works great in my Armalite AR10A2, go figure. I will shoot up all I got but I doubt I will buy any more. I got a RRA CAR15 and it works great in it too. for the price you can almost do just as good with Remington UMC ammo at about $5 a box. you got to keep your barrel and entire lower constantly clean cause of all the residue. to each his own,
I have used a bunch of their 9mm stuff in my XD and a bunch of 7.62X39 in various AK and SKS rifles over the years. I have never had a problem with the stuff.

I've read a couple of threads about the steel case stuff here and on GlockTalk. And its always the same thing. Half the people say its the goods and the other half feel that taking the effort to throw it out gives it too much credit.
I gotta say I'm in the latter camp. My Ruger KM77 MkII wont even chamber it. Admittedly the rifle has pretty tight tolerances. But the reason I wont use it in any of my guns is the fear that little pieces of low grade steel will shear off, get into the action and act as little corrosion wicks. Currently all my gear is stainless so not a huge deal but not worth the risk to save $1.50 a packet IMHO
Haven't had any problems with wolf military classic in my sks, cleans easily, and gets quite good accuracy too. only had a few misfires due to cosmo crapped firing pin which is fixed now.

Wolf Gold line is brass cased, boxer primed, copper-jacketed and SAAMI-spec'd. Sooo... what's your excuse now?

Bad news is even living in the biggest city in Austalia. excluding one gunshop which is quite big, I'd have to go to three different stores to choose from 6 different types of ammo.
Never have seen wolf gold at any of them including the big one.
duties and customs rigmarole make imports of ammo and firearms prohibitively expensive thanks to our nanny state. Which means we generally don't get much of anything.
When are you *******s going to take unilateral action to bring democracy to this part of the world? Form a coalition with New Zealand. Their army consists of about six guys and a mini cooper but there pretty sensible when it comes to gun control

has anyone shot wolf in cetme 308? how did it perform?
I shoot normal steel-cased Wolf .308 in my CETME, but my CETME is a problem-child and had the same issues of failure-to-feed with nice South African 7.62x51NATO. Not a single failure to eject due to "sticking", though. The early ones with the SA ammo did have some where the case didn't exit the receiver and "stovepiped".
It was quite dirty though; there was whitish smoke coming out of the receiver after about 5 shots within 30 seconds of each other. That was with the few functioning magazines that ran through all ten rounds without issue. The fact that it can run through them alright and not damage the gun is testament to it working okay. The steel case was dented upon ejection and didn't damage the receiver at all.

I thought it was a pretty weak argument. Hey if you don't want to use it don't! I use wolf in some guns, other guns it is only what I have crafted with my own two hands will ever be shot.
I really don't want to spend too much time loading 7.62x39 or 9mm. I look at these like 22 cal. Most guns chambered for these rounds will shoot any thing.
My yugo has no problem with the wolf other than 2 duds in 600 rds. Also I tried 2 box of the wolf in .223 in my Oly AR-15, no problems but it seemed a little underpowered I shot a box of S&B after and it seemed to have a little more kick and was more accurate. for the sks i'veshot nothing but wolf, for the AR occasionaly for some cheap pit shooting but would not use on a regular basis.

I have been using wolf ammo in all my weapons[hand guns].I have 15 different cal.and have never found a single problem with any of it.Also it's also the cheapest ammo I have found.cci is the next cheapest.
I'm indifferent to wolf ammo. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for. It shoots straight, but shoots dirty. Clean your gun and your gun will continue to operate great.
