seasons end!

Well the deer seasons are over here in Indiana and it is planning time for next season.Got some clear cutting to do this spring so to open up areas. Then we have food plots to re-plant and so on... The cabin is to be finished this year,I hope! And with several bucks left for seed to grow big and tastey for this coming 2007 season.

Thumbs up

Just today I started eating sausage harvested in NW MO this deer season. All the fun and work is worth it, and the meat is a good saving, too. Good luck in your clear cutting and let's hope those young deer you left will grow up for you to harvest another season.

Lamehawk, where in hoosierland are you located? I'm guessing in the north since I've not heard of nyona lake in so. IN where I live. By the way how did you do hunting this season?

Hello trapfreek! I live south of Rochester but my property is in cass county. My season ended to soon because of health issues but 1 of the guys I let hunt shot a good button buck.We had pic's on deer cams of 16 different bucks and know of only 3 killed so next season is going to be a boom season. And if you ever do any fishing this little lake here has some real good bluegill, redear and bass fishing so come on over and give it a try!
