91/30 Bayonets

I just purchased a laminate stock, stamped matching numbered 1928 ex-Dragoon 91/30.

My question is how common is it to have the bayonet stamped and matching as well?

I was surprised that the bayonet was stamped and matching and am curious as to whether its unusual or not!

Cool Dennis, thanks!

I just figured a bayonet would be grabbed out of the pile and tossed in the box with the sling, ammo pouch, etc...

Sometimes it 'tis...the older a gun is, the more likely it is to have mismatched numbers on the bolt, bayonet, or whatever.

As that rifle has been rearsenalled at least once (no Dragoon ever wore a laminate stock, and neither did 91/30's til very late in WWII) - the numbers were all force matched very late in it's military career.

Of course it's dated 1944, and was apparently never issued.
