Those are Valentine lights, and they're soon to be Easter lights.

They are year round tooth fairey lights. You never know when you might need to guide the ole' tooth fairey in for a lost tooth.

I bet those are the same people who leave their empty shopping carts between two parked cars at the grocery store.

Still have my lights up (no decorations though). And, won't be taking them down soon (was below zero this morning and won't go over 15 degrees until at least Sunday). But, they are not turned on.

I was in a Kmart parking lot one evening years ago

And when I returned to my pickup, there was a cart up against it. I pulled it back, hooked the front wheels in a planter so it wouldn't go anywhere, and an old lady landed on me for not taking it back to the front of the store.

I explained it wasn't even my cart; it had just rolled against my truck. She told me that was no excuse and if I was going to touch it I should put it away properly.

I pulled it off the planter, set it against her driver's door and told her, "okay; now it's touching YOUR vehicle. YOU put it away properly." Got in my pickup and drove away...

Talking

Several families here, in various neighborhoods, get into contests to see who has the mostest and brightest Christmas Light displays. They have so much, they gotta leave them in place year round - it'd take weeks to clear it all away! They got lights all over the house, in the bushes and trees - just don't park your car there for too long . . .
