I still like shooting the twentytwo guns, and milsurps - never 'out of season' for those!
Occasionally I still build the plastic scale models - aircraft and armor mostly, but also classic musclecars. Much more affordable than the real thing!
I'm Big Dog's long lost son..

I'm not a big model builder, but did put one together last week.. I'm addicted to .22's and mil-surp rifles, and if the roads aren't covered with salt or snow, I'm on one of three motorcycles. I like to look for the lost city of La Farge, WI..

(It's not really lost, but the roads around there ROCK!!)

I don't really hunt, but my hobbies outside of collecting and shooting military weapons are my quad, and I play the drums in a local cover band. I also play computer games- Silent Hunter III, Battleground Europe, Red Orchestra to name a few. I used to be a volunteer firefighter, but was no longer able to stay active in that due to my work schedule.

Thumbs up

Paper, we gotta meet at a MC meet one of these days! We seem to be kindred spirits! The upcoming "Tour de Tellico II" isn't far from you.

A bunch of us from work tried Paintball once, several years back. It's fun, drawing down and plastering your boss! Bwahahaha!

Man, was it a good workout! We were their last group though - they closed down for insurance reasons. I can see how it can be an addicting hobby, for sure. Nice thing about the 'markers' they used - they were semi-auto, but once they got dirty, they'd go to "full rock&roll"! Great fun!

I have found another place that does it, but it's not in the woods like before. I need to get another group together for it.

The T D T II sounds great, but it's the same weekend that a group of us get together every year for "fishing", which consists of drinking beer, playing poker, laying in the sun and getting stewwed, and, on occasion, a little fishing.

It'd be a stretch down that way, at 700 miles each way, but I've ridden further for shorter periods.

If nothing else, I'm always headed south for a week of work... Headed to Macon, GA in a week, as a matter of fact..
