I've been a retired bum for the past eight years but do mostly volunteer work now. For the first five years I worked for two public school districts in Kansas, and then moved to the North Kansas City School District in Missouri where I worked another 33 years.

Plant Operator generally means an operator of earth moving equipment over here. Front end loader, excavator, bulldozer and in my case a sand washing plant as well. I started when I was 13, other kids sold newspapers, I drove a loader

Down here we call an Operator the one doing the operations of the units. Turning valves, takeing readings, samples,.....

Paper machine repair specialist. Yep, them big stinky factories with lots of steam coming out of them..
And if you don't like it, start wiping your butt with plastic..
