Nancy Pelosi Backs Tuition Breaks for Illegal Aliens

Pelosi joined three of Arizona's four Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives for a town-hall-style meeting Monday at Arizona State University in Tempe.
Her visit to ASU marked Pelosi's first domestic public appearance as speaker outside of Washington, D.C., and her home district in San Francisco.
The California Democrat praised the recent passage of House legislation that would increase the maximum yearly amount awarded through Pell Grants by $260 - to $4,310 - and cut interest rates on federal student loans in half over the next five years.
Someone just get it over with. Add this to the Bank of America crap and their credit cards without a social security number, I've got a bad bad feeling of whats going to happen in the next few years. Bush won't do anything to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into this country, and the democrats want to just open it up. Again, there has got to be a (enter conspiracy theory here) reason for this. I'm afraid the amount of cheap labor and drug money is just to much for the men and women in Washington to resist.
Seems to me the Dems want the immigrants for votes and the Reps want them for the economy. Even though we can credit our boomong Texas economy partially to illegals, we are tired of the negatives. Our governor, Rick Perry, ran his campaign on being tough on illegal immigration. When re-elected he said building a fence was a ridiculous idea. Texas has a budget surplus of $15 billion, with a "B". Texas could afford to build a wall from Brownsville to San Diego. I'll bet Governor Perry is serving his last term. Anyone who runs on a platform of stopping illegal immigration, even at Texas expense, will win the Governorship.
