Angry Something interesting. Hope it's okay to post here.

This is an interesting read.
Just more of the same but, food for thought.

They shouldnt be able to roll until ALL safety and security issues are satisfied. The first priority should be the safety of US citizens. Not Mexicos economy. PERIOD.

A year long pilot project?????

God only knows the amount of crap that those trucks can bring across in one year.

It goes to prove our politicians don't listen to our comments or concerns.

Bastages!

I'm glad to see you folks share my concern with the antics of our leader. It seems there is no shame recognized by him. I'm wondering does he love America? If he responds with a "yes", then I'd like to have him address all the crappolla he has done, like the Dubai's(sp.?) ports deal, and other suspect enterprises. Just exactly, how is this good for America and her citizens? And, more to the point, who gains? I think Americans would like to know where his loyalty actually lies......as I feel partly to blame because I voted for him, I'd like to know myself.

Oh, and they don't care about Mexican Economy, it is cheaper for US Corporations to ship goods through Mexico than through our own seaboards and trucking companies. "Money trumps peace." ~Bush. So, I doubt they care about security for we, the people, either.

It's very possible this could be our lot and, it could be our lot a whole lot sooner than later. I'm very concerned. And, I wonder what bushit's motives are, though I can certainly surmise them for myself based on what appears clearly already added to certain statements he's made in the not so distant past, and, coupled with the comments his dad made way back in the gulf war when he was referring to the "New World Order"! Laugh if you want but, I heard him utter those exact words on TV one evening and it caused shivers to run down my back. To hear these words from our prez.....well, it doesn't inspire much faith. So, again I say please don't laugh. The idea of such a thing coming here from south of the border just ain't good news, not even for bushit.

Patty Murray's my state senator and as much as I don't really like how she does business, I'm glad she's trying to head this crap off at the pass. I think I'll be sending her a letter in support of stopping this stupidity.

I curious, where have you been the last 6 years? Have you not noticed our rights being curtailed at every turn? Have you not heard the call for more? By the time all this plays out, we may not have a bill of rights anymore. But, in the context of your post, yes, I agree but, sadly, that time has passed and is gone forever. We were sleeping at the wheel. I'm glad the dems raised Kaine about the eavesdropping on citizens. At least it made everyone think for a minute and now, they say...if you can believe the government, they have stopped. We'll see. God bless America!

Oh, I've been watching. I may not catch everything, but I have been. What I HAVE noticed is the correct RIGHTS have been slowly been infringed upon and the wrong "rights" be put into place. Our nation is moving into something far worse than isolationism which would be complacency. A complacent society breeds a corrupt government though not entirely.

I wrote a speech for my highschool English class called "Corruption in Politics". One part sticks in my mind. "Take care in your government, or your goverment will take care of you.". Meaning watch what's going on, or your government will do something you may not like.......to put it mildly.

I'm thankful there are a few here who understand why I rant about what's been going on.

Kind of like the BS we were fed on the NICS records being destroyed as soon as they compleated the check.
Later John Ashcroft made a big deal about how he was protecting us by not giving the FBI our NICS records that were not supposed to exist.
Yeah,we can believe whatever the gummint tels us,right!

Well, as I said before.....cannot be trusted. This is not my "Bad Mouthing" them, it's their track record! It's a reputation they have earned for themselves. I imagine they were honorable at some point but, that point was long ago.
