Goex Ammo in Blackhawk

This weekend, I bought a box of 50 Goex Black Powder rounds chambered for my Ruger Blackhawk in .45 Colt.

I figured that the blackhawk would be able to fire these without a problem, since it fires buffalo bore rounds.

Will Black powder hurt my revolver?

Black Powder will not hurt your gun, just make sure to give it a good cleaning after shooting

Thanks. Yeah, I read that black powder can be corrosive. I always clean my gun after a day of shooting, I'm just glad that it won't blow my gun up

As long as you clean it good, you'll be fine
