| Outsourcing shipping to bring US its goods
100 Mexican-bourne trucking companies are now given free-reign to bring goods into the US. So, some large Post-Panama American-bound ships are now being re-routed from California, where American union workers unload the ships, put them onto trucks and then American truckers take the goods to consumer locations, to Eastern Mexico (where the shipyards are being heavily expanded), where cheap Mexican laborers will unload the ships and load them onto Mexican trucks, which will then in turn, bring them to the US. This not only causes loss of work for American Shipyards, but it opens the gap down south even larger. Goods may be cheaper, but at what cost otherwise? Interesting story I thought I would show ya'll. Not good for the Union Man. I guess this was someone's alternative to Saudi-run ports on our Eastern shore. WorldNetDaily: It's official: Mexican trucks coming

Check out the TV show Jerico, that's how they took out most of our major cities, one bomb per truck and set them all off on signal, cell phones. That's why there was no wide spread EMP caused outages. |

Nukes, dirty bombs, nerve gas, etc...are definitely a concern. But, I believe a bigger concern is the continued disregard for the Average American worker. Even if goods are cheap, how we gonna afford even that when we have lost our job to another, tax-free worker? Soon enough, we will be hip-deep in a market depression, and those corporate mugs are gonna be sorry they can't sell anything, cheap or expensive.

I used to install security systems and cameras at the border crossings in Texas. I even installed a system in one of the drug seizure vaults. I can tell you first hand that they do not and will not just let trucks of any nationality cross the border without going through customs inspection. Almost all are x-rayed and drug sniffed, and all are tested for radioactivity. I think the main threat will be to the safety of our citizens on the roads.

I doubt they are going to check 10,000 trucks carrying goods. Chances are they will check 15-25% of them. Holding them up for a border check would be inconvenient for the big businesses, may be harmful to any consumable goods, etc... The way I understand it, they will be free to come & go as they please. The companies will be checked by our Defense Department and cleared, then that company's trucks will be free to cross whenever. (well that doesn't help what may be in the containers).
