just kidding. with all the sensitivity going on here, we don't want to offend.  After last nights drudge report, claiming Giuliani as the winner, all I can do is puke! He's anti-gun and proud to admit it! In other words, he has no respect for the pro-gun folks who helped to get bush elected twice! How the republican voters could accept him is beyond my understanding. Maybe things are just changing. Maybe conservatives are just a thing of the past. Honestly, I don't know anymore. Rave, do you?

The origin of the word is a bit fogged, as there were some African Clans that used a word "Niggar" with an "ahhr" ending, which meant "pet" or "worker". The European slave traders picked up on this word when purchasing or trading for slaves in Africa with the African slave traders.
So, whether it is derived directly from spanish or from those clans in Africa is unknown. Probably a combination of both.
As far as this unpunishable law, I feel it is ignorant to waste our money on putting this type of thing through court and paying for lawyers, when the money could be used to put a few good rehabbed black men in schools to talk about the degredation of the black community and how it needs to become better for itself and for the country.

I think it boils down to who calls who the "N" word. I think it best, for all concerned, to just not use the word but, to make it a crime that is punishable by law is just "feel good" legislation and really serves no purpose but, to enrage and "salt" an already festering wound.
