I want to get a 10/22 and a Single-Six jsut for plinkin and rabbit huntin and what not. So do i get the 10/22 first or the single-six? Or does someone else have a equal good revolver that is cheaper i could get over the single-six Preferably looking for a 5-5 1/2 inch barrel.
I own a 10/22 and its a great little gun, I use it mostly for target shooting. I can hit a three inch target from 120ft consistently. I would rate accuracy and reliability very good. You won't regret buying one. In the end it comes down to what you really want. As for the Single-Six I don't own one so would not no. Hope this helps you out.
depends, whatyou really want more. Or which would balance out your collection more. The single six is a great revolver, to get started in handguning or to keep up your skills. though the 10/22 is also a lot of fun and has some great after market items to customize it to your prefence. though if you do decide to get the single six get a trigger job done you won't regret it
Ruger, just because a rifle is more acuratte at extended ranges, easier to throw up, and it has a boatload of accessories. I own both, and end up taking a Ruger Mk.1 out every time, along with the 10-22. My Ruger 10-22 is shooting 2 inch groups at 100 yards with open sights. I have no clue what it's shooting now that I've got a scope on it.
You should shoot a ruger 10/22 magnum (no longer in production)...while the ammo is a bit high...it will spoil you. it is my favorite rifle, though it does get boring shooting the same bottle caps over and over and over again at 100 meters.
