Yet another boot knife!

Bought a Western W77 boot knife with rosewood handles and Kydex sheath a few days ago...
Didn't like the Kydex so I seached for the correct leather sheath some of these come with.

Lo and behold I found tonight a military type Western boot knife with the leather sheath instead of Kydex!

Kydex:

Now I can mate the military with the Kydex and the pretty rosewood/satin stainless one with the leather sheath...I'm soooo happy!

Actually I realized last night I screwed up...the rosewood is the 4 1/2 blade (The W77)...
The desert matte is the 3 1/2 blade (the old W75)

So I'm still looking for the leather sheath for the W77

Anybody help out there?

Question, Joe: do you have any knives that carry between your shoulder blades?

I had a friend years ago who carried one there. I never saw him without his shirt to know what kind of rig he carried it in. It was basically a double-edged throwing knife, and he reached back into his collar when he wanted it. Mostly he did things like peel fruit with it, but I have no doubt he could throw it as it came out and down.

He may have saved my life once in a little Mexican bar outside of Sacramento, by producing it with shocking speed when a farm worker flipped out on me and went for a boot knife. As he came up with it he found himself nose-to-knife-point with my friend, and changed his mind.

Troy, Ive done that before with a big knife, made a leather harness for it. but the handle was facing down into the small of my back so all i had to do was reach behind and pop the snap and the knife pulles out.
