Chalk another one up for the good guys!

Interesting to note... the cameraphone video is "not found" after clicking the link in the article.

I wonder if they took it down because it was too "disturbing", as mentioned in the article? If that's the case, why is it okay to show bad guys gunning down innocent civilians and not show an armed civilian protecting his customers and family?

They would rather portray guns as inherently evil tools, then to show the many wonderful things that guns do

I find it interesting how people are able to decipher censored/edited news reports or slanted/biased reports. Unfortunately many others will completely miss what you picked upon. Many others will write it off to technical glitches/copyright etc. But it was ok to show film of US servicemen being hit by sniperfire on film derived from Al Jazeera news. The Left seeks to edit out truth that contradicts their ideology.

Zen, you, just a car and 338 hit the nail on the head. I recall a quote from hanoi jane's ex-hubby when he owned the news network...he said, words to the effect, "All the news that's fit to print and we decide what is fit to print!" I think that pretty much sums it up, don't you?

Question

It seems the media only tells us about guns used in crimes, defending oneself or family is apparently verboten.
Hummmm,I wonder if it could be political?

I was able to view the cell phone pictures. They were nothing disturbing.

I'm glad that owner was able to protect his business and not having to bury one of his employees.

Yeah, the pics almost look like the store owner was beating UP the 2nd theif. Talk about twisting info. Why I only watch the weather on regular news channels.

Like Johnny Revolver said, dinner and a show. I bet nobody will try to rob him again anytime soon. If you hear anything else on this story please keep us posted. I'm willing to bet that the guy who was only wounded and the family of the dead guy will try to sue on some technical grounds.

I think some of you guys have become overly sensitive to "the media"

I didn't notice any particular anti-gun slant to this story....
