belt mountian base pins

has anybody tried belt mountian base pins in their blackhawk,bisley.etc.my two bisleys jump out under average recoil.i have to push them back in to shoot again.also does anybody know about undesized chamber throats.i heard this effects accuracy.mine are no target guns but acceptable.

Yes I have and I bought the standard one but what you need is the extra strong spring for the base pin latch because that's the real problem.... the weak spring.

Also keep it tightened down all the way and your problems should be history as are mine.

As far as the throat sise goes, you want them to be bullet diameter +.0010 min./+ .0015 max.

So if your shooting .452 dia bullets you basically want your throats reamed to .4530 -.4535 and your rifling dia. would be best @ .4510 - .4515 for the .452 dia. bullet.

Yes, undersize throats do affect accuracy even if they are a little undersize like mine are per e-mail with Dave Clements.

Mine measure .4512 - .4515 and need to be opend up to .4525.
