N.O. goin too far with gun confications?

confiscation in N.O.

This is a link to the forums I saw this in. The top post has a movie of the news publication. I think it would concern us all if something like that happened.

Why I don't doubt those events happened, as I did read them...the site the video is posted on is about the "apocalpse" and preparing for it. Not something I think a lot of gun owners want to be associated with.

Thanks for the heads up though.

there was reports of a few small shoot outs with cops and a few sniper shots too were fired and you could here the shot on the camera but they never said what the shootouts were from . they tried to say they were gang related but usaually when they would have a gang fight or a shooting with cops it would be a big story these storys were reported by the reporters that seen them and heard them and then they just plain never peported anything on them again so we never know what happened with them. but i don't think it was gangs that just tried to take on the cops like they said in a press confrence with the cops. i think they tried to take some guns and just had a hard time of getting them or just couldn't get them at all.lol that's why people would not even come to thier doors when the cops would pass in boats the best thing to do is get some paint and put the markings on your house that it was searched and just hide if not you was a criminal.i know around here i live by houma and they shut down sales of all ammo and guns at any store that was open andfor miles away you couldn't buy nuthin it was what you had and that was it. i know the cops around here was not to friendly iether and to me if someone would have told them to go take guns they would have done it in a heartbeat. i think next time there will be a totally diferent outcome if they try and take them again people ain't gonna stop for the cops this time like they did for katrina . i think next time there will be blood in the streets .

Unfortunately, yes. Nobody will be able to discern the "good guys" next time. It will be a miniature civil war.

As of apoclypse, thats just a bunch a "sooth sayers" tryin to stir up trouble. Your right, Chris. No real legitamate gun owner would want to associate with that.

your gonna laugh at this one but you brung up the black chopper subject. but anyways me and the old lady was sitting in bed and all of a sudden we hear this chopper and it sounded like it was on top of our house . well the sucker was i jumped out of bed and ran to the back window and looked out and seen a black bell207with this guy dressed in black bdu's holding a rifle with a scope on it and he is standingon the skid of the chopper looking down into my back yard and into the neighbors yard so i run to my front window only to see a black suburban with dark tinted windows stopped in the road and they was talking to my son ?????well anyways after they spead off and the chopper left my son came running inside and told me it was the gamewardens and they was looking for some wild panther or wildcat that had gottin loose and was really dangerouse and wanted to know if my son or any of the other kids had seen it . but man that really freaked me and the wife out to have a black chopper right outside the window and when i say right outside it was so close i could see the letters on the guys name of his bdu'sand the chopper was kicking up grass and stuff in my yard. but as for black helicopters after katrina there were so many chopper flying around here after that i couldn't tell you what color they was plus they were to high but for the first 2 or three days there was none flying then all **** broke loose and it was like night and day 24/7then came rita and the levee broke down here too and we had them flying all over i tell you it was like a military zone after a while and to get food at the red cross you were watched buy armed guards with m16's(loaded). ever watch the movie red dawn ?? well or better yet outbreak when they come in a tell everyone they can't leave the town and they ride around with guns and watch you like you done something wrong well thats it. it's a wierd feeling to see the army standing guard and keeping order instaed of the cops . sure we had cops but we had lots of army national guardsmen keeping guard. but to be honest you could crack a joke with the army personel alot easier than you could with the cops . it was just a wierd feeling it just didn't feel normal thats all try standing in line for 5 hours for a food card and the whole time you'r standing there a armed guy is watching you with a m16 you feel like a heard of cattle being hearded into the butchers house.
