collapsing stock

I don't know this guy, and won't vouch for him because of it, but he's selling the Leapers collapsing stocks for $30 ea. Just thought I'd pass it along, sounds like a decent deal.

I bought one for that price a while back. It's the lowest price, it's also the lowest end version.

Gotta' go w/ Lefty on this one. There are some great items LIKE this out there that aren't made so shoddily. To date, we've got nothing for the AR, but if you spend a bit more, you'll get a MUCH better product. Lemme' know if I can help you locate a good dealer for a quality stock.

Interesting tangent here, but since I'm from Kentucky, I suppose people will understand if I use a bourbon analogy. We all know Jack Daniels makes sour mash whiskey. It is a staple, right? What not everybody knows is that the recipe that they use was stolen from Evan Williams, who was making true Kentucky bourbon (gotta' be from KY or you legally can't call it bourbon) at the time.

To this day, Evan Williams makes a less expensive, more authentic product that tastes better, goes down smoother and even comes in a bottle design that was ripped off by Jack Daniel's distilleries, too.

Whew. The point is, sometimes, you find a great product made right under your nose that perhaps doesn't get the press that some of the others get. I love it when that happens...

My former Leaper's stock needed some modification before fitting correctly.
