13 years old, in 8th grade. Liked girls, but still too shy to do anything about it. My brother joined the Navy that year. I went to his Boot Camp graduation, and thats when I knew that I was going to join the Navy too.

I was 22 years old, married 1 year, cut my long hair, kept beard.
I was office manager and counter salesman at a welding supply co.
Shaved beard off in 87.

I was 23, still a year away from meeting my wife, water skiing EVERY saturday April to October and even twice in January, chasing skirt like a dog in heat, getting tossed out of bars, embarrassing the family, attended the Texas Jam #6(Ted Nugent, Sammy Hagar, Boston, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, etc?), gets kinda fuzzy after that. Very close to approaching my lifetime quota for beer in '85. I was lucky to have lived through that year. Man, what a ride!

I was 28 finished with school in a bad relationship and a crummy job. I started reading ALOT and that is when my education began. Personal reading is the best thing I have ever done for myself. School was a waste of time as I look back on all the years now.

Well am I happy to see I wasn't the only one very young at that time. I would have been 3 at the time, so Lord only knows what I was doing.

In 1985 I was 30, divorced for the first time and raising two boys on my own, ages 4 & 8 yrs. Taught them how to fish and hunt and shoot and reload and what I knew about life in general. Boring I know but I had them to think of first, fun came when they got big enough to be on their own.
