Favortie Thing to Shoot?

I get tired of putting holes in paper after a while and like to make things more exciting. I have to admit that I do enjoy shooting bottles full of gas with a lit rag using the Mossberg 590, now that is fun. I am careful not to burn the desert down. Small propane bottles, lit rag, 100 yards, AR iron sights, good time. Old TVs and the .357, fun fun. How could I forget bowling pins and an AK, what was I thinking. The neighbors basketball in mid air.

What do you guys like to shoot besides paper and buglers?

Dingoes (well wild dogs really, wasnt too much dingo in them) because they used to kill alot of our calves, and they are a challenge to hunt in that hill country where i used to live.

Most of the time i would use my NO4 MK1* Longbranch in 303-270 since that was the main rifle i would carry with me. I still kick myself for selling that rifle.

also shooting rabbitts is always good fun. with a .22 or 12g

Haven't done it yet, but I intend on making my own tannerite targets, since I'm a chem major. The stuff really isn't that hard to find. ;-)

Frozen Pumpkins are always fun, even the little M1 Carbine makes them explode pretty good.

I like to shoot 5 gal. cans with a cup of gasoline inside with a tracer or incendiary round...Makes a nice mushroom cloud !
Tannerite charges also make one heck of a boom when hit.
I also like to shoot at gongs set at 1000 yards.

I always had a good time with a few other guys,or alone for that matter, at night shooting rats at the town dump with 22s.Turn the lights on the truck off at five minutes intervals, then turn them on and start shooting. You never make a dent in the rats population so targets are always plentiful.

*nod* I can't wait to throw some together. It's a couple easy-to-come-by ingredients. PM me if you're interested, as I don't want to post them here for some kid to go blow himself up with. He can do that elsewhere on the internet just as easily. (though, it helps I've had about 3 years of college chemistry. )
