ps: Personally, I think the country is going pro-gun (basic rights) with more states allowing concealed carry(shouldn't have to be law for LACs)
(law abiding citizens) and more state ratifing a "castle doctrine" of self defense.

Something that popped up at me first is why anybody would want to buy a firearm from a gun dealer that can carry on with sales if you you don't get to shoot it first. From the way he is talking you have to take it to storeage the minute you leave the shop, thats kind of like owning a car and can't drive it. Makes no sense to me at all. But it is a foot in the door to total gun control.

I don't buy his disclaimer that he's not advocating disarmament of the people. Why else would he take the time to write such an article? He's simply attempting to avoid the backlash.

Additionally, does he have no understanding whatsoever of our US Constitution, specifically Amendments #2 and #4? They specifically forbid the government from passing laws that infringe upon the private ownership of firearms and from unreasonable searches and seizures.

The only reason we currently have firearms laws at all is that we, as a voting public, allow the government to pass them. But since when have we stood by and watched entire neighborhoods being searched for ANYTHING without due cause, never mind firearms that are supposed to be specifically protected?

This guy is an anti-firearms nut, and should be treated as such. His attempt to deflect blame for writing such a story is transparent.
