Congressional Oath Of Office.

How And why do we make them take the Oath of Loyalty to our Republic, and then allow them to trash the Constitution ,and try to rewrite it the way they think is should be?

I, Loyal Citizen of the Republic, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

THE CONGRESSIONAL OATH OF OFFICE

This one should really go to the Political Issue forum Chris hooked us up with, Joe. He's been trying to keep new political posts out the Powder Keg, except for those that are obviously gun or 2nd Amendment-related. He thought it was getting a little too heated for a general discussion forum.

Folks ANY and I mean ANY and EVERY politician elected by the citizentry can be recalled by vote if there is enough support to get it done. Local State and Federal. Exception is the Federal Executive Branch, which contrary to common belief is not elected to office by the popular vote.

The first post was straightforward and not inappropriately political in my opinion. Let's keep the responses in line.

The only reason you brag to each other about them is beacuse you're too cheeep to buy good American guns.
