Thumbs up Saw Fred on TV here in Tampa last night.

Seems he is head of a group here in Tampa, had dinner with some friends.
He said it wasn't worth changing his life for second place,no VP for him,it's number one or nothing.

I'd like to see Thompson win office,Thompson wont get much support from the liberal East Cost States,as the dripping socialist bottom part of NY, that somehow runs the whole State.

Fred hasn't hit the media here in the Midwest yet. I know very little about him at this point.

i love him. hes so straight forward and so "just himself" that i really want him to run. i think he will. i saw a poll that says he leads so far in popularity with the republicans and he hasn't even announced that he's running. They are calling him the next Reagan. i looooove him

I'm definitely still looking for a Republican I can be proud to vote for.

If not him it's none of the above and that includes both sides of the aisle.

Talking

Buried in today's Kansas City Star today was an article telling how Bill Clinton is taking charge of Hilliary's campaign. That is good news for Rebublicians.

Both McCain and Thompson may be too old to win. This was the beef against Bob Dole when heran for prez. Dole, a fine American, never the less was ten years past his prime. It is a strange bunch running for prez on both sides of the aisle for 08.

Yeah, it is a strange bunch. You got Hillary the commie and Obama the zombie on one side. Then you have Giullani the cross dresser on the other. Have you seen the pictures of him dressed in drag? Definitely not leader of the free world material!!!!!

Whatever one thinks of Bill Clinton, he's probably the best politician in the country, when it comes to politicking. If anyone can sell Hillary to the country, it would be him.

If Gore hadn't been stupidly determined to prove he was his own man, he'd have let Clinton help him and we'd never have had President Dubya to love or hate.
