| With sweet springtime here at last and my list of "Want-to-Do's", "Need-to-Do's", "Honey-Do's" and all becomming an ever lengthening list (I expect I'll have to create a separate zip file for it all) I was wondering what all of you good folks here at G&G might be looking forward to with the warm days ahead of us. A short list of some of mine... 1) Finish planting the garden 2) Complete the refurb work on my CJ3B 3) Go to the Coast and finally catch that BULL Redfish so I can at last use my bonus Red Drum Tag 4) Have as many B-B-Q's as we can get friends together for 5) Beat my wife at least once at dominos 6) Get to the range more often Whuts Yours? ![]() |

| Well my wife decided the other day she wanted a small garden and ask me to plant a few Toematter plants and Pepper Plants. I'm thinking it's kinda late to be planting a garden but I never the less mossey to the feed store and was pleasantly surprised that they still had a large quanity of vegtable plants and they were all outside in the sun, not in the green house, so I knew they were acklomated to the sun. I bought a lot of plants !!!! That means I had to spend more time behind KILLER ! Thats my front tine roto tillers name. Amazeingly KILLER started on the 2nd pull and off he takes me to the garden spot. Because of a good rain 2 days prior the ground was easy to til. I actually enjoyed breaking up the ground. Anyways I've got a big garden to tend to and my yard is 1 acker, I got to mow it and I'm thinking about going back to work where I can buy all these interesting guns I've learned about here. Last but not least we will cook outdoors often this summer probly more than the average person. I wonder if WalMart has an opening in there sporting goods dept. lol...A.H |

| Well A.H. Sir I am awful happy "Killer" Started right up fer ya. It's my wifes habit to name everythang we own with wheels and an engine. Sadly "Snapper" our trusty and very rusty 30+ year old rear tine tiller has begun to give me trouble. 1st the recoil starter clutch gave up and I had to replace that, Next the shaft key decided to shear off, fixed that, now one of the blasted tires won't hold air anymore at all and of course the kingpin being soft iron has rusted solid in place making removal of the wheel let's say a wee bit difficult! Have gone thru two cans of solvent to break it free but so far no luck! Glad to hear you got yer plants still searching out for our favorites! ![]() |

| Gun Liker ![]() | Here on the other end of the world our seasons are the reverse of yours. However, 2 weeks shy of the start of winter, I go to work at 4:30am in shorts and a polo shirt. It used to get sorta cold once.

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | There's "killer's" everywhere this time of year. Tilled my garden last fall...and again last week before planting another vegetable garden. Been on this routine for at least 25 years, all in the same 15' x 20' spot of my back yard. All my grass clippings and leaves are till into the soil so it's fairly rich soil now. Only things planted are eight tomato's, four hills of cuccumbers, two rows of onions, and four bell pepper plants. Watering and de-weeding those plants occupy some of my time from now till November. Also, fishing is on my schedule, too. I've completely refurbished a 16 ft aluminum Vee bottom, so now it's time for that relaxing venture till early November. A new 15 HP, 4-stroke, Nissan makes it even more fun to use. We're looking for bass, crappie...but mainly we're just after the fun of being there soaking up the sun. And...in June my wife and I are driving to Dallas for a 50th anniversary of her brother and SIL. Between those events, and plenty more, I'm trying to get my back diagnosed to determine what the **** has happened. Some days I can barely move...but after enough meds I can kickstart my body again. Life's a beech when you're hurting physically. I suspect a back opertion is likely sooner or later.
