9mm conversion?

Hello all
I have recently bought a SW1911PD. I love the gun but with the recent increase in ammo I would like to try and find a conversion kit. Does anyone know where I can get a complete 9mm converison kit. I know Kimber and Marvel sells a 22 conversion, but doesn't give the muzzle flip for realisitc recovery. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it.

You must have not priced a quality 1911 lately. Is there no one with a real answer?

Sorry to say, Never have seen a 9mm conversion kit...Only .22LR Conversions in all my years of gunsmithing... If I ever see one I will contact you, but don't hold your Breath..
.45 ammo is still pretty cheap , and cheaper if you reload!

i know what a good 1911 costs. but by the time you purchase a new slide, barrel, barrel bushing, ejector, extractor, slide stop, front and rear sights, and pay someone to fit them all together, it is cheaper to buy another 1911 in 9mm
