Hi Mandy,
I had the PIC saved on my lap top. If you scroll down there is a button called "manage attachments"

select that, use the brouse button to find where your pic is in the PC, select it, choose to download, once done, close the window, and send message.

Hope it helps

Can't let this thread die. Wonder what Mick is driving in Australia? Probably a strange looking ute with his GF going to the B&S ball.

Yes, and those Aussies are very practical people. They oftentimes coin their own words for situations if one isn't handy; no stuffiness or aires are allowed. They're down to earth good hard working people, many of whom have entered "down under" through their descendents as slaves from Europe starting around 1783+/-...or have migrated there later to settle those vast spaces filled with animals nowwhere else to be seen on this earth.

For example, their "utes" are a combination 4WD flatbed truck and a conventional PU...except that the sides on the bed are almost always made to fold down if the load requires more surface. And, yes, bull guards are on most utes, too, due to wombats, kangaroo, and other night prowling animals.

Many of Australia's animals are nocturnal and seek their prey while others sleep. See: http://www.gigglepotz.com/ausanimals.htm Yet, when they cross roads at night and the ute's are wound up heading down the highway with their bull guards leading the way, many are killed as they slowly cross the roads. Wombats are notorious for causing wrecks at night. They remind me of a big boar hog, only shorter, very slowly moving in whatever direction it wants without veering around anything. It moves straight ahead rather than going around most obstacles.

Than the kangaroos and other related pouch bearing animals can make life interesting, too, at night as you cruise along the highway. That's when they're most active.

Gotta get back there again and check out another state besides Victoria, where I spent some time two years ago. Queensland would be my next choice to visit. There's plenty of different animals there, too. Plus, the people are all friendly, if you show respect to them.

Traded off the old Grand Marquis on Friday (my Christmas shopping trip). It had started blowing blue smoke any time it sat and idled for any length of time (like at a stop light). Mechanic told me it needed new valve seals, about $40-$50 worth of parts - but about $800 to install. The thing was too complicated and delicate (almuninum heads suck) for me to work on without the possibility of causing even more expensive repairs (12 pounds of torque for a spark plug you cant even see?). What was really bad is the engine only had 90K on it - I could overhaul the top half of a 302 for $1000.

Bought a 2004 Dodge Stratus, 200 hp V6 with a limited slip front end (uses the ABS). Only had 11,000 miles - got it bought for $10,500 (trade value). Dealer pissed and moaned about how they where not making any money on the car but it had been on their lot for 90+ days. I've driven Fords my entire life but they aren't offering a 7 year 70K power train warranty. The car just feels more solid at highway speeds (80+) then any Taurus I drove. Brother in law has a 96 Stratus with over 188,000 miles on it and if it get the oil changed once a year he think he's doing good. In the mean time the 84 F150 just keeps puttering along.

Is there any engine you can't fix, Dhermesc? Seems that you're very mechanical with all the work you do. :right:

Those aluminum heads on the Ford 4.6 & 5.4 V8s (look out NRA JOE) have the spark plugs in deep wells so you can't turn them in with you fingers - you can't tell using a socket wrench if its just turning in a little hard or if you have cross threaded it. If you have cross threaded it you won't know till you have stripped all the threads out and it comes back still in your socket or the first time you rev the engine up and it blows out. Mechanic warned me that IF I didn't fix it the oily smoke would clog my catalatic converters and it would be another $200 - $300 to fix. That's what I get for trying to stretch another year out of a car I knew I should have gotten rid of.

The little Dodge (anything's little after driving a Grand Marquis for 6 years) only has a 2.7L V6 engine in it and its rated at more horsepower (200) then the engine that was in my 4000 pound Mercury (180). Ran it up on the way home from the dealer and it pulled strong up to 120MPH before I chickened out and let off. Good to know the power's there if I want it. Was kind of surprised I didn't hit a speed limiter once I topped 110.

IMO: those aluminum heads aren't all they're cracked up to be. when the pro's and con's are weighed, i'll go with cast.
