Here are some pics of the latest upgrade to my 1990 Bronco. I noticed plowing this past winter, that the air bag in the driver's side spring wouldn't hold air anymore, so I just put in a 1.5" levelling kit, and new shocks. The previous owner had put in add-a-leaf springs in the back, so the rear sat noticeably higher than the front, expecially with the plow on. The pic in the snow is the before, and the pic at night is the after. I'll have to wait until daylight to take better pictures, but it sits level now, and the ride is so much better. The shocks that were in it were very shot. I also removed the very dated aluminum running boards, so that gave it a little more ground clearance as well. Next upgrade will be some 31' BFG All Terrain T/A's.

Here's pics of my latest wheels with around 28,000 miles. This Limited Edition V-8 5.7 L Jeep is Trail rated but mostly gets used to pull a lightweight fishing boat and trailer.

My last truck was 1981 Chevy 4X4 with 230k miles on her. I SOLD that truck, and bought my present truck, a 1996 Chevy 4X4, and now have 190k miles on her. Still runs like a top, and looks good for her age..

i just bought my first truck this year. new to me '79 chevy camper special, 3/4 ton heavy duty suspension, not one but two 20 gallon fuel tanks ( wimpers as he fills up the tanks...). its kinda beat up: dash all cracked, speedo dont work, drivers door has no handle to get out or roll up the window, no radio. but its got a rebuilt 350 and new tires and its all mine. my wife says its our date truck. WoooHooo.

Its kinda funny, I am without a truck for the first time since I was 16! Keep in mind I am only 23 now and have already had a 91 f150, 64 f100, 68 f100, 98 f150, 94 ranger, and the coolest truck ever, 91 Bronco with 35's! Now I drive a Mazda, first foreign car ever, havin so many problems unlike my Fords! And yes, it was made before Ford bought them.

Still got the F150...5.4 Triton...4:10 rear...37.5 gal gastank....hurts at the pump!
Just now turned 12,300 miles and still no problems.
Went to some of the dealers looking around today...temped to get another truck with smaller engine/ethanol capable...but the thing is this truck is half paid off now.

Really don't want to start all over yet again.
I just put on a chrome gas cap cover today...ordered chrome door handles/tailgate handles from MOSS MOTORS a couple days ago.

While at the dealer today I checked into getting rid of that black wrap around on the front and getting the one painted the same color ($419 installed)
Checked into a good sounding stainless catback system/dual exhaust ($450 installed)

Been looking at rims also....

Figured might as well fix 'er up....got a rubber bedmat last week

Maybe in the long run pull out those 4:10 gears and put in 3:55's....

Man, you should here that sucker rumble!
Reminds me of my '70 Chevelle SS I had back in the early '80's...

Guy said I'd actually save a little gas 6 months from now after I tire of putting my foot in it to hear that rumble...

Next is rims and a tonneau cover...

Flowmaster catback be good, four more mpg in my Crown Vic,and mo go.
Try an L&N air filter along with your catback,WOW,you'll love it,another two mpg and mo go!
Filter good for50,000 miles then clean, but I'll replace. All together different from paper filters.

Noticed my drivers side foglamp jiggling around this morning coming home from work.

Tried to tighten it up...only made it worse...the base is tight but the insides/lens is loose...(real loose now that I messed with it!)

Drove over to the dealer....they will fix because its still under warranty....didn't have another foglamp in though...had to order it....while I was there found out there is a recall on the brake booster hoses...will get fixed for free also...both get done next Fri morning.

Other than that, still no problems...

Joe, it's gonna be tough to keep from grinning at the sound of the flowmasters even after 6 months.
