If Hillary gets elected then if were lucky we might get to own H&R shotguns and rifles.
We'll learn to be good shots with one...A.H

Well, you'd be one of the first casualties then, because that other guy with ten rounds from an AK, or even a pistol has a longer reach then you with that shotgun. Kinda like putting Mini-Me in the ring with Evander Holyfield. No contest. Now, if you were in close quarters, you would have a very good advantage...but in the open streets you would be a sitting duck.

An SKS is a great first semi-auto rifle for the money. It was one of my first and I put a lot of rounds through her. If you get a good one (Yugo) she'll be quite accurate. The only problem is that 7.62x39 ammo is getting scarce. One of my favorite semi-auto's is my mini-14. Everyone says they're not accurate, but I put out clay pigeons @ 100 yds and can break them every time. The SKS is the same way. An SKS will cost you $200-$300 though, whereas a Mini14 will run you twice that. (used)
...But my Stagg M4 is the one I'd go to battle with...

shrub, until you've been in a situation where what you're shooting AT is shooting BACK,
you'll never know how shakey things can get. Your nerves come into play, and there is a LOT to be said for use of suppressive fire to just get the he!! out of the situation alltogether. A 1-shot kill would be nice, but is it realistic in a situation like that? IMO, no.

I agree that Springfield Armory probably has quite a few employees, however, remember that their manufacturing is limited. Most of their guns/parts are made overseas, aren't they?

HOWDY,
I live in Illinois and have put up with the Democrap's since I was born. Flunkie Blago and King Richie, along with toad Todd, have Crook County and the state of Chicago, in their hip pockets because a majority of the people that live here are working for these flunkies. there's alot riding on their votes-jobs, income, favors, etc. I vote my own way, even though my Union says to vote Democrap. If voting for one item is wrong-then I'm wrong. The 2 amendment is the cornerstone for all the others. If it wasn't for it and our Veterans- we would all be speaking different languages. God Bless our
Veterans and our Troops. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year(crap on PC!).

I would like to see all the armed or law abiding people move out of Illinois then maybe all the criminals would move there knowing that all those left are unarmed victims.
