Is Illinois Really This Retarded

The state Senate approved a bill to make the selling or MANUFACTURING magazines of more than ten rounds illegal. Springfield Armory and Armelite have said they will move out of state if this happens. Les Baer is already moving to Iowa before the House even votes on it. I think there are two other gun manufacturers who would be affected, but I can't remember who that would probably pack up and leave. Of course, it's the Chicago contingent clamoring for the law, even though nobody else in the state seem to care. But if any of the manufacturers were based in Chicago I bet this would have never even got to the floor. I wish Chicago would just sink into Lake Michigan!

Ill Noise!

Their favorite song is by the Beach boys. "Wish They All Could Be Californians." This will mean the bad guys will just have to carry more magizines if they want to kill more than 10 people. If Al Capone was alive I bet he would have something to say about this. This means we will probably have more winter Texans from Illinois. Oh well!

The "Bad Guys " won't care and continue to carry the biggest magazines they can find! When are you folks gonna figure this out GUN LAWS only and I mean ONLY ever affect the Law Abiding Citizen and have never ever at any point in history no matter how far you care to go back had the least most minute effect on crime or criminals! Period!

I was kind of surprised when somebody told me Les Baer only has 24 people working for him. Is this true?

I won't comment on any other state...I live in California. There are laws pending now that would require the buyer to take a course, pass a written test and demonstrate the ability to safely handle both pistols and revolvers.

I was gonna ask how many people work for each company. If those manufacturers are big employment providers then it might not pass.

I live in California too, and I don't mind those tests. All their doing is making sure the would be owner demonstrates the ability to handle these firearms. Whats at stake? If you don't pass the tests, you don't deserve own a pistol or revolver. I wouldn't want to give firearms out to people who can't take care of them.

Responsible gun owners are the only people who needs guns.

However, I don't agree with gun-bans. Instead of banning certain guns or parts, dealers should sell strictly to qualified people. ****, a person should be able to by a full automatic MAC-10 with 30 round magazines, as long as their able to be responsible with them and keep them locked up safely so people can't steal them.

Springfield and Armelite have to be way bigger. Les Baer is just a specialty gun manufacturer so I guess 24 people could be all he needs. I bet SA has more than that in their shipping department.

I hate it when American states enact the communist manefesto. I think all their workers should move with them. Make em pay! No tax income for you Ivan! Start a recall! It worked in Commiefornia.

If you have to take a test to Keep and Bear Arms then how about a test to speak out in public or to write a letter to a editor. How about a test to see if you should be allowed to vote. One step closer to total control.

Illinois Gunmakers: ArmaLite, Inc., D.S. Arms, Inc., Eagle Arms, Les Baer Custom, Inc., Rock River Arms, Inc., and Springfield Armory, Inc

I'm thinking Springfield Armory itself would be huge.
