| Resident Armed Liberal ![]() | Cactus blooms
One of my cactuses (cacti, if you're picky) has been blooming this week. I got a picture on my way to work the other day, and a couple more the next evening, when the next two blooms came out. In the last one, you can see my beagles looking through the fence. ![]() ![]()

Troy....it's amazing how a prickly plant that lives under such arid conditions can produce such a beautiful bloom. Nice post!

I have always loved the sight of desert "Roses", but they really don't last too very long
