I have a FEG PPH. I dont know if they changed the name or the box once Interarms imported it, but I believe it to be at least based on the GRP. That's the copy of the walther PP. Its chambered in .380 auto and it works perfectly. I put 100 rounds a week through it and it NEVER jams.

I own 2 so far. A AP66 and PA63. Both are awesome guns and very reliable. I shoot them all the time at the range. The AP66 I added a lighter hammer spring and the PA63 I added a heavier recoil spring, a lighter hammer spring and had custom thin black walnut grips made for it. It is my favorite CCDW gun.

I have I own a Walther PPKS as well. And I would say that Fegs are more accurate (Because of the longer barrel length). Are almost Identical in construction and cost a whole hell of a lot less. I could have bought 4 PA63's for the price of my PPKS.

They are well worth it for the money.

I just got home from the range, and I finally got to shoot my FEG P9R. Well, in my opinion this pistol is not bad at all. Not bad for a $299.00 used pistol.

I have a FEG PA-63. In front of the hammer release lever, there is a small hole that had a pin in it. Is this pin supposed to be here? Because when the pin is in place the hammer release lever doesn't release. Does the pin need to be in the gun?

Please advise.

I have had dealings with both the P9R and the PJK models. My Bro. in law owns one and my wife the other. put several hundred rounds through both W/O problems. EXCEPT the P9R doesn't like remington rounds. Took her and it to the range a few weeks back and had 4 misfires and jams out of 13 rounds. To give the gun credit, tried the rounds in a Kel-tec with simular results. Might have got a bad box of ammo.

I would certainly assume so. I think Numrich(sp?) has any parts you might need. They're out there, anyway.

I have a PJK-9mm Feg. I like it but getting the slide stop pin out to field strip gun is tough as it is tight. Gun shoots well though

First post here. I recently bought an AP 7.65 for my wife. We were at a gun shop (Gunbroker in Clackamas Oregon, nice folks) where I was looking for old military rifles. My wife was over in the pistol room picking out the most expensive item on display (she has talent that way). When I came in she had a stainless Walther PPK, liked it, but said it didn't feel quite right. I spotted the FEG and suggested she try that. It fit. We took it home for $159.00.

It took it down, cleaned about a pint of axle grease out of the inside, and looked it over. I was quite impressed and a little perplexed. The machining looks very fine, certainly comparable to western service pistols. The perplexing part was the guns condition. The frame has several bumps and scrapes, the anodising on the frame is quite worn and there is holster wear on the slide. I expected to find wear to the barrel and action group. Instead, the inside appears to be unfired. Particularly the feed ramp still had faint horizontal tool marks, no indication that it had ever chambered a round. To say the least, I am quite pleased.

I've ordered a spring set from Wolf, and magazines from Centerfire systems. I can recommend Centerfire. Three day turnaround on the order, and in addition to the mags I ordered they included a West German G-3 cleaning kit. Nice.

I'm happy to find this forum, looks like lots of useful information.

Robert Klaus

I'll follow up my own post. The Wolf spring kit arrived today. Thanks to the good advice on the forum here I only had to scramble around on the floor to find one part.

The difference with the new springs installed is amazing!

Robert

Just picked up my first pistol, a shiny new-to-me PA-63. Not the first pistol I've ever shot, just the first I've ever owned. I plan on making it my CCW soon as I get my permit. I found that blasting out the grease they come stuffed with and lubing them with Breakfree actually eased the trigger pull notably. However, I still ended up ordering recoil and hammer springs from Wolff (gunsprings.com). I got a PA-63 because I fell in love with a friend's Makarov (both guns are based on Walther PP/PPK's) but didn't like how he complained about carrying a steel brick on his hip. The PA seems to be a great choice at a great price.

I have a PA-63 that I love. I only got it in March, but it has been a great shooter so far.
