Post Kennedy's Famous Quote (the Long Form)

"And so, my fellow americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man."
John F. Kennedy (1917 - 1963), Inaugural address, January 20, 1961

It's amazing how often the first half of that quote is bandied about by Liberals throughout the world, but never do they give thought to the second half.

Well, remember how crazy the liberals got when the Republicans ran some excerpts from JFK's speeches on tax cuts? Despite some obvious liberal traits such as cavorting with enemy agents, Kennedy did have some valid ideas about the economy. In fact, he frequently sounded like Reagan.

Kennedy was the last good Democrat in my book.
