i did just a few days ago and its a spamers haven and virus's too, my spam doubled with this place, and when they said i had a responce to my profile i have to pay to read it and thats bull **** to me, id pay to get more but not a responce that could be from a spamer BULL PUCKY not doing it and so wount you, dont pay for what you wont get, its a trick, if you dont trust me ill send all these spams to you and youll find out,

theres a better place out there we have to look for it. word of warning folks thats all.

Both Facebook.com and Myspace.com have allowed me to find friends from high school and college that I'd lost contact with. I highly recommend both.

I do not recommend Myspace a.k.a. The Devil for anything. You'll be hacked and phished to pieces on that site. Depending on how old u are, Facebook is an excellent tool to find old buddies. If you're the 18-30ish range Facebook is good.

You only get hacked and phished on Myspace if you don't pay attention to normal stuff on the internet, like if you click a link in an email from someone you don't know. Make sure that if you're at a login page, you got there on your own and not 'redirected' after clicking a link, then make sure the address looks right in the address bar; a lot of times phishers use similar addresses, like www.us.gunandgame.net, if someone bought that and redirected you from here to there and made the site look like a G&G login page and you enter your login info, they now have your login and password.

Basic stuff that anyone should do already.

I like facebook a lot...I like myspace as I find more friends there. I also have quit trying to find people...

With anything...if you aren't careful you can be taken advantage of.

Chris, could you PM me your myspace url? I've already got Troy's, and JAC's. Texas T, I don't see how they can hack you unless you click on a phisher's link. All they do when they phish you is make an ad for Macy's or something. We need to start an official gunandgame myspace thread.

I don't have myspace simply because I believe it is the devil. It's so annoying with all the Zwinky ads and what not. More ppl are probably on myspace since it targets a wider audience. It takes forever to load a friend's page because of all the crap you can put on the page. Facebook is cleaner and has a more simple layout. Very user friendly.

TexasT, it's not the page that makes you wait, it's your computer. I dont even pay attention to those ads, much less play them. Myspace is user friendly once you understand it. Heck, I did my page in HTML in like 30 minutes.

I find all the customizations that can be done with myspace....annoying. It's kinda like the journal sites used to be.

It IS the page that makes you wait. I have a new computer and cable internet. I don't think it's either one of those. Ppl load music and thousands of pictures and all kinds of crap on those pages. It makes it take too long to load.

it only takes me like 2-3 seconds to get to a point that the top of the page is readable, the images load 1 at a time

but i dont use it much cuz i have 3 friends on there..... i still have the song i put on there about a year ago lol

Never had any trouble from them at all; of course it's been a while since I actually used them.

I don't remember all the ins and outs of classmates.com chrish, but they must've been offering you some premium service of one kind or another. I think every old girl friend I ever had in high school got in touch with me sooner or later thru there when i first signed up, and it didn't cost me a dime.

As far as spam goes, I don't get any.
