I like small rivers and large streams (cricks) and fish for whatever is available but mostly bass. I would like to just camp and fish along waters in the foothills of the Smokey's.

I would love to go take a nice long deep sea fishing expedition.

I love the ocean and fishing.

Nothing spectacular, but I do like to stay above the waves.....

the cool thing about deep sea fishing is there is no telling what you are going to end up with on the end of your line.

You know with the federal and state catch and release only restrictions on Goliath Grouper (formerly non-PC named JEW FISH) to try to replensish a severely overfished resource I am really hoping to be able to catch and keep one of these monsters before I take my dirt nap. The fish grow to enormous size and among the groupers are probably one of the best eating. That or go back to Alaska one last time before I die and catch a truly big halibut just one maybe in the 5-600 pound range just one.

Tell ya what, brother Earl, as soon as I win the lotto I'll give ya a call. We can both go up there. A friend of mine caught a bunch up in Alaska and that was some of the best fish I ever ate! Count me in on that trip!

Hey ezearln, maybe if Mooseman (Rich) is feelin' generous, he'll let ya stay with him or at least help ya out in findin' a place to stay while you're up there. I'm sure he knows some good fishing areas up there.

When I was on Amchitka we fished right off the beach caught sea run Dolly Varden, silver salmon a ton of cod and Irish Lords but I never once got me a good size halibut! Would love to go back there but sure these days it's once more restricted Mores the pity....

guess I am pretty lucky

I live in the north island of New Zealand I have fished all my life, as a child we fished for snapper and kingfish from the beach in front of our home sizes from 1 to 50 pounds late in life I tired of that and now concentrate on trout from streams like this mainly Rainbow trout(Steelheads) here but plenty of Brown trout as well.

I'll see if I can find some fish photos

I'd probably go to Canada for two weeks fishin' for monster gators. Then another week for monster lake trout.

I fish primarily for crappie and bluegill but have tried for walleye in the past.... actually, I would love to do some ice fishing, in the middle of the lake(lake Superior, maybe).
