Battlefield 2, Joint Operations, Mech Warrior, Black Hawk Down, Land Warrior.

I'm ranked #175 in the USA for Commander on BF2 and #780 Internationally for Commander and that's out of 3.1 million people...

and when my boy comes home..I will drop dramatically..

I am a big gamer. Battlefield 1942, 2 and 2142; Company of Heroes; ArMA, Silent Hunter III & IV, bunch of RGPs. I haven't played MMO's in a while, but used to. Also play a bunch of others.

A game that looks really awesome is Brothers in Arms: Highway to Hell. Check it out at www.Gamespot.com.

Fear is nuts... play at night, turn off the lights, no background noise.... woo! It can be fun. =).

DARN! I hate that kind of game. It doesn't really scare me, but I HATE things that pop out, startle you and make you jump. Kinda like DOOM 3. The game leaves no lasting fear in me, but that second when something jumps out in front of you...BAH! Pizzes me off. lol. It's more of just being sensitive to sudden noises & images than anything. Good games, though, if you like that sort of thing.

I like Alians2vs Predator,Return to Castle Wolfenstein,Call of Duty series,Max Payne,that sort of stuff.
There are also some odd balls like Chaser, and SIN.
I'm sure these are old to most, but I still like 'em.
There is also one I got for $6.00 called Kuma Wars,Iraq right down to "allied" troops and TV news.

Doom 3 is the only game I've ever played that, after about 30 minutes, I had to turn it off and take a break. That game is just plain scary. The lighting, noise, all of it. It was funny, my buddies would be playing RTCW, I'd be playing Doom 3, and every few minutes I'd scream. Half of them feel out of their chairs.

I didn't think there was enough ammo in Doom 3 either. Too much time spent searching for more ammo, dropping/picking up weapons, trying to figure out if you had enough ammo to make it to somewhere unknown...where you MIGHT find more...

I liked the plasma rifle, but again, not enough ammo...and it took so much to kill things with. Almost 2 mags on one critter, and you can only carry 5 mags (or whatever) at a time. I don't like using hacks to give me unlimited ammo, but I seriously thought about it in that game.

If you like games like DOOM 3, but don't like how stuff jumps out at you...check out the FarCry series...same kind of action, but not as much jumping out of the chair.

I downloaded a cool mod for the plasma rifle on Doom 3. You remember in Aliens how they had the motion detector that would show blips? A little window replaced the window on top that looked like that. Kind of freaky actually.

Well, actually, that might help with the 'jump out of the chair' factor.
